Instrumental Group is seeking a Full Stack Developer to join our growing international digital agency. The perfect candidate will be an ambitious, driven individual with a grasp of front & back-end development languages & best practices. Our new hire will work in a web-based programming environment and be supported by a team of UX/UI designers, marketers, system architects, and developers. They'll learn modern strategies for product development, and how to bring designs to life across a host of applications and viewing devices.

Core Responsibilities

  • Support agency and client requests that require programming
  • Leverage nodeJS, CSS, and Javascript skills to modify existing code base
  • Translate visual designs into HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with an emphasis on pixel-perfect fidelity and responsiveness
  • Successfully integrate a variety of software with HubSpot via custom API integration
  • Effectively prioritize and execute tasks with proper planning to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Work within Project Management Software, Slack, and HubSpot
  • Stay current with modern web trends and related technologies
 

Desired Experience

  • At least 5 years of relevant programming experience
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to conduct technical analysis and research
  • Problem-solving aptitude
  • Experience with API Integrations
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and HubSpot SDKs from an end-user perspective
  • Coding Languages: HTML, JavaScript, HTTP/S, node.js 16.x, Python 3.9, React
  • Server Knowledge: client/server architecture, state management, caching, and security paradigms. Experience with web server configuration eg. IIS, Apache, NGINX, etc.)
  • Database Knowledge: relational/SQL and non-tabular/NoSQL database design & optimization. Experience with various database platforms in either/both categories eg. MS-SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, REDIS, MongoDB, Amazon DynamoDB
  • Message Queue management: Publish/Subscribe messaging, queues & streaming paradigms. Experience with real time messaging/streaming platforms eg. MSMQ, Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, Amazon SQS
  • Application Containers: Building, packaging and deploying applications. Experience with tools for deployment eg. Docker, Podman, Buildkit, etc.
  • API Knowledge: Foundational knowledge of REST API development. Experience building integrations with enterprise-grade CRM systems (g. HubSpot, Salesforce. Knowledge of file formats such as json, xml as well.
  • Version control systems: Experience with version control systems eg. GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, etc.
  • Experience in DevOps to implement cloud-based application solutions, drive innovation, and improve processes. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Implementing scalable, resilient, and secure solutions in AWS.
  • Automating processes to enhance efficiency and reduce hosting costs.
  • Collaborating with Product Owner, Platform Team, Solution Architects, and development teams for continuous improvement.
  • Driving automation and "Infrastructure as Code" delivery.
  • Participating in technical discussions with clients and internal teams.
  • Conducting research and development for cloud-native or on-premises solutions.
  • Analyzing and troubleshooting complex software and infrastructure issues.
  • Providing support for critical and escalated issues.
  • Managing and upgrading DevOps toolsets.
  • Maintaining 100% automation coverage of core Insight build and deploy using cloud-native services and containers.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years' experience with AWS and other cloud services.
  • Experience with AWS tools/services like Lambda  CloudFormation, EC2, SES, S3 Aurora, RDS VPC, Route 53 and the security and compliance services.
