Data Migration Specialist

Instrumental Group, one of the top Elite HubSpot Partner agencies, is on the lookout for a true data expert to help our team migrate and align data and technology for our clients. If you love data, are comfortable working in HubSpot, and want to spend your time planning and executing data strategies for large organizations this job is for you.

As a Data Migration Specialist you'll lead data migration and alignment strategies, implement and migrate into HubSpot-centered system, and support stakeholders on how to access and operate successfully. Successful data retention, proper data architecture, and application management will be paramount to providing value to the organization as well as our clients.​

In this role, you'll get to:

• Serve as an advisor to clients, helping them to achieve their desired objectives 
• Evaluate data mapping and migration requirements, current tech stack, and business objectives
• Define the future state data structure and record configuration
• Fulfill migration, integration, and configuration requirements in a variety of software applications
• Stay a breadth of the latest support applications and capabilities in the marketplace
• Testing and validation to ensure accuracy and retention
• Demonstrate and activate implementations directly with clients

Technical Competencies

• Expertise with data structure, record layouts, and field mapping.
• Fundamental understanding of CRM and marketing automation platforms.
• Fundamental understanding of API integrations and iPaaS solutions.
• Import2 or Zapier is a big plus.

Qualifications & Work Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
• BA/BS degree or equivalent working experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in English
• Adept at task prioritization, working cross-functionally, while never losing sight of the core purpose behind your work.
• Ability to set and run an agenda, lead pointed conversations, and keep clients on task.
